Job Description

  • Safety Code Implementation: Understand and deploy Unilever Construction Safety Code.
  • Risk Management: Conduct safety risk analysis; develop and implement controls.
  • Safety Audits: Regularly audit departments for compliance with safety standards.
  • Occupational Health Collaboration: Work with health personnel to mitigate health risks.
  • Training Management: Identify training needs; assist in program delivery.
  • SHE Strategy: Implement global SHE strategy, policy, and standards.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with local/national laws and Unilever standards.
  • Incident Management Advice: Provide guidance in accident/incident investigations.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze data from incidents, near misses, and safety audits.
  • Safety Auditing Systems: Develop and implement internal safety audits and inspections.
  • Hazard Assessments: Conduct hazard assessments for each position.
  • Emergency Drills: Plan and execute drills with a clear action plan.
  • Incident Investigation: Ensure thorough post-incident investigations.
  • Human Error Management: Conduct root cause analysis.
  • Workforce Training: Train and certify staff in safety hazard management.
  • Post-Incident Learnings: Implement learnings across the site.

Additional Job Requirements

  • English Proficiency: Upper Intermediate level (70%)

 

Working Schedule

  • Days: Saturday to Wednesday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Contract Details

  • Type: Full Time
  • Business Trips: Required as per job/site needs, with potential local travel for multi-site coverage

Key Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar position
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environment/Safety Engineering
  • Language: English – Upper Intermediate (70% proficiency)
  • Age: 25 to 38 years
